Blohm + Voss is a German shipbuilding, luxury yacht builder and engineering works. The company has an important history and was founded on April 5, 1877, by Hermann Blohm and Ernst Voss. The shipyard was built on the island of Kuhwerder, near the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany.

Blohm & Voss has built several very unique yachts, including the 73 meter “ECO’, which was launched in 1991 and was capable of reaching 37 knots. Another notable yacht is the 105 meter “Lady Moura”, with overall dimensions that rival a cruise ship. Blohm & Voss yachts are built in Hamburg, Germany, and they are a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Werften.
