Hakvoort is a Dutch builder of fine luxury motor and sailing yachts. The shipyard is situated in the historic and beautiful village of Monnickendam, located on the shores of the IJsselmeer lake about 8 miles north of Amsterdam, Holland.
The Hakvoort facilities include two enclosed and temperature-controlled docking and construction halls. There is also a metal workshop, a dedicated office complex and a large quayside operation. Around ninety highly experienced staff work at Hakvoort, supporting the building superyachts from design conception to launch.

Placing luxury and comfort to the fore, Hakvoort builds luxury motoryachts and sailing yachts up to 50 meters in length. Hakvoor also has a purpose built facility for major refits.
Hakvoort has received recognition from the International Super Yacht Society and ShowBoats International.
Since 1994 they have nominated eight Hakvoort yachts for awards, and five of them have won in their class: Lady Marina (1994), Freesia (1998), Spada (1999), and Saga (2002), Tigre D'Or (2005).
