PK BOO II was designed by Martin Francis and built in aluminium at Trehard Constructions Navales, France. Built in 1988, PK BOO II is one of the first fast performance cruising yachts. She underwent a major refit in 2001-2002 during which the guest accommodation was completely refurbished and all mechanical systems were overhauled. Now, she is offered for charter in immaculate condition.
PK BOO´s design was many years ahead of itself, the sleek flush lines have not dated and she is as impressive under sail today as she ever has been. She cruises at 11 knots but has demonstrated her agility and sporty performance by achieving 25 knots, offering some truly exhilarating sailing.
On deck the guest entrance is from the forward cockpit, and the crew have a completely separate access aft. PK BOO's guest cockpit is shaded by a fixed bimini which remains up whilst sailing, and here guests can dine or relax out of the sun. She offers additional shade once the sailing is over with a full sun awing from the mast to the back of the boat. For those who do wish to sunbathe, huge sun mattresses can be on the foredeck, and there is plenty of deck space for all.
She carries a good inventory of watersport equipment for a sleek yacht of this size, including brand new tender with 40hp outboard, Waterskis, Donut and 6 sets of snorkelling gear. ENTERTAINMENT includes a new entertainment system, plasma screen TV with DVD, home theatre sound system, stereo with CD in saloon and indoor and outdoor deck speakers.
