Yacht KATHARINE (formerly Seakawk) is a 2001 aluminium Trinity Yachts 53.95m (177') luxury motor yacht. She has won many super yacht awards and represents the highest level in a luxury yachting vacation.

With cruising capabilities of up to 19.5 knots, KATHARINE was designed to explore the shallow waters of the Bahamas and make transatlantic voyages.

Designed by Claudette Bonville & Associates in Fort Lauderdale, the boat’s interiors are rich in crotch mahogany and olive ash burl. Every detailed section of the living and sleeping quarters–six staterooms, multiple dining areas, including the aft deck, which can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned–have been given the same careful design considerations as a luxury home.

One of the interesting features KATHARINE was built with is a 16-foot telescope mast that can be raised while the boat is in motion, which increases the ship’s ability to sail almost anywhere.

At the time of construction she was the largest post—World War II yacht built in the United States for an American owner. Katharine is cur¬rently cruising the Mediterranean.
